Open all year round, Grantley House is a traditional Victorian house, retaining many of its original features. Our non-smoking guest house prides itself on a high standard of service and cleanliness and represents the ideal base for a relaxing break.

Most of our guests return time and time again.
4-star rated by the English Tourist Board, and awarded the BA Award for Best Holiday Accommodation Of The Year in March 2009, Grantley House offers guests a selection of double, twin, single & family rooms, each with en-suite facilities. Complete with central heating throughout, each room has a colour television with Sky Freeview, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and hospitality tray.
Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast or lite bite breakfast in our spacious dining room – a great way to start the day!
Located near to the main blue flag beach and Whitby town centre, the scenic region is home to fine stretches of coast and spectacular cliffs and bays.

The town offers an array of unique shops and is complemented by some wonderful attractions including; the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the Dracula Experience.

Award winning seafood restaurants line the sea front, as well as a scattering of olde worlde English tea rooms serving traditional Yorkshire tea.

Many events are held in Whitby throughout the calendar year.
